My favourite sewing and embroidery quotes

I'm going to share some of my favourite sewing and embroidery quotes for which I have found online. I'll share my thoughts on each of these quotes, and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

"You can't buy happiness, but you can buy fabric" I couldn't agree with this quote more, for "any day spent sewing is a good day"!

"If you see me with a seam ripper, now is not the time" oh man, if I have a seam ripper.. just don't even try to talk to me!

"One who makes no mistakes never makes anything" this couldn't be any closer to the truth! I definitely don't make mistakes at least once a week...

A compliment that only my fellow sewers will understand, "may your bobbin always be full"

"When feeling low, It's time to sew" ah yes, "sewing is my therapy"

"My soul is fed with a needle and thread" wait a sec, you're saying that there are other things in life that make you as happy as when you are sewing? Not possible!

"Finished is better than perfect" this one is definitely one that I need to tell myself more. I tend to procrastinate for certain sewing or embroidery projects because I don't want them to not be perfect but, to be honest, who cares!

"Sew much fabric, but sew little time" oh how many projects there are that I want to dig my hands into but can't because of the reality of time.

Farewell to all and see you next week for a new and fun article! "keep calm and sew on"

Why Bobbin Thread Is Showing On The Top Of Your Embroidery Design

Almost all of us have been there! Having bobbin thread show through on the top of your embroidery project is so annoying, especially when you don't know why!  Here’s a list of questions to ask yourself and how to fix them so you can prevent your bobbin thread from showing on top! Or have you just purchased a design and don't know how to now transfer that design to your embroidery machine? Either way, here's how! After you have purchased an embroidery design, you will most likely get a zip file. First, you want to unzip the file. On a Chromebook you will double-tap the file On windows, you will want to right-click the file and select the option unzip  And on a Mac, you will right-click on the file and click into services, from there you will want to click unzip Yay! Now you have successfully unzipped the file! After that, you will want to drag the format that your machine uses (for example Brother is PES) to where the USB is in files.  Or you can click the format, click CTRL+C and click into the USB in files, and click CTRL+V. If you’re not sure which file format you need, no worries! You
